The Wildcat Den

Welcome into The Wildcat Den!

Hydesville School is proud to offer our after-school program daily, FREE of charge, to all TK-8th grade students as an extension of our Expanded Learning Opportunity Program.

Our program operates Monday through Friday from 1:10-5:30 p.m.  Snacks are provided!

We offer homework help for elementary and middle school students Monday through Thursday in our Homework Club.

Here in The Wildcat Den our goals may look a little different than your child’s regular classroom. While your student’s regular school time may focus on reading, writing, and arithmetic, our after-school program takes a much more adventurous and kinesthetic approach to helping your kids discover what they may not know they love yet.

Through hands-on projects, and lots of fun mess making, we take on the task of introducing your kids to new experiences like cooking, science, art, animation, sports, yoga, gardening, and so much more. We are always looking for new ways to create something new for the kids to experience.

“Creativity takes Courage”- Henri Matisse, and here in The Wildcat Den we strive to encourage your child to have both and help them build confidence in who they are and who they want to be.

If you plan to have your student attend the after-school program, please fill out the attached registration form. Drop ins are always welcome if we have a completed registration form on file.

If you have any questions or are looking for ways to support our program, please feel free to contact me or Arlene in the school’s front office.

Warm regards,
