    Scott Williams is our featured teacher this month! Mr. Williams is at the helm of our seventh grade class, but also teaches science to the eighth graders. Mr. Williams came to us this year with many years of experience at local schools, a 100% engaging presence in the classroom, and a smile and kind word always at the ready.

  Jeanette Rolff is in the staff spotlight this month! Jeanette is the instructional aide in Ms. Bartlett’s third grade class. Jeanette became part of the Hydesville School family mid-year. Pancake Breakfast and Egg Hunt

    Join the graduating class of 2020 on Saturday, April 20 from 8-10am in the school gym for a pancake breakfast fundraiser. At 10am you can head out to the field for an egg hunt with the Hydesville Volunteer Fire Department.

We’re Hiring!

   We are seeking outstanding teachers to join the Hydesville Elementary family next year, and we want your help to spread the word.

  • Middle School Teacher (Grades 6-8)
  • Resource Teacher (Full Time)

   Interested applicants can visit the County Office of Education website, or better yet, contact the office to hear all about why Hydesville Elementary is the place they want to be! Both jobs close this Friday, April 12 at 4pm.

Movie Night

 The student council is hosting a showing of Shark Tales in the school gym on Friday, April 12. The show starts at 6pm.

Penny Wars

  Many overflowing buckets of change left the school Friday following the exciting conclusion of the Penny Wars. As soon as the loot is counted we’ll share the total raised. I predict it’ll be impressive!

Spring Break

     Spring Break is next week, April 15-19.
