Penny Wars

Mr. William’s class took the upper grade title with a final score of -$18.13. Overall the Parent Group brought in over $1,500 for our school. Thank you everyone for sending in your loose change!

Dia de la Fiesta

The Hydesville Parent Group and the Class of 2020 invite you a carnival and silent auction this Friday at 5pm. Enjoy fun, games, food, prizes, and a silent auction. At 7pm a live action begins in the gym, with childcare provided in the Wildcat Den.

Next Year’s School Calendar

The 2019-2020 calendar will be available on the school website soon. An important date to take note of is Monday, August 26th, which will be the first day of the upcoming school year.

Testing Begins Next Week

Next week annual state tests for grades 3-8 will begin for some classes. As the date approaches for your class your teacher will ask you to ensure your child begins their day well rested, well fed, and prepared to do their very best. Beginning this year paper copies of test results will not be mailed home in July, but instead sent electronically via SchoolWise sometime midsummer.

Headphones Needed

Speaking of testing, each student in grades 3-8 need a set of headphones to take the online state tests. If you have not already done so, please consider sending in a set of headphones in a labeled zip-lock bag for your child. The school will purchase a pair for students unable to provide their own.

On Time, Every Time!

Please remember school starts promptly at 8:30 am each morning. Being on time is the best way to start the day strong. After all, it’s the Wildcat Way!
